In Virginia, high school football is a way of life, an institution revered, each game celebrated more lavishly than Christmas, each playoff distinguished more grandly than any national holiday. And with such recognition, comes powerful emotions. In 1971 high school football was everything to the people of Alexandria. But when the local school board was forced to integrate an all black school with an all white school, the very foundation of football's great tradition was put to the test.
We felt our community could use a recreational outlet even in these times of the 'new normal' and watching a film with your family and friends in the comfort and safety of your own vehicle seems like a great choice so we are giving it a go. The licensing cost for a single night is significant. As long as we can break even, we will keep showing more films....and the key to breaking even is regular attendance and sponsorship from local businesses.
Please come experience a film under the stars from your own vehicle with the sound coming right into your car via FM radio! And compliant with the Phase 2 COVID-19 regulations from the State of Nevada.
While Phase 2 restrictions are in place, we can not accept cash for concession items at the venue. After purchasing your tickets you will be given the option to prepurchase popcorn, canned soda and a limited selection of candy when you buy your tickets here. Prepurchasing concession items will give you a second ticket. Show us that ticket at the ticket booth and we'll give you what you ordered.
